Ubuntu Touch Programme:
In-depth carefully constructed 12 and 24 week Ubuntu Touch Training and Accreditation programmes designed to give students a combination of practical, vocational and experiential knowledge.
24 WEEK PROGRAM (ITEC and SETA)
This 1000 hour 6 month long training program will include:
- 250 direct contact class training hours: ITEC On-Site Corporate Chair Massage 3 x modules (Anatomy & Physiology, Business & Professionalism, and On-Site Massage & Practicum), New Venture Creation-Entrepreneurship Training, and First Aid Level 1 Training
- 50 hours energy vitality training: Reiki and Qi-gong Training
- 50 hours nutritional training: Vitality through nutrition – Theory and Practical
- 150 hours internship and mentorship: over 6 Weeks, 2 days a week: Sponsored placements
- 500 hours guided supervision work: Exam, Assignments and Case Studies
ITEC Accreditation:
The world’s leading accreditation body for health and wellness qualifications, recognised in 35 countries. Graduates also enjoy automatic membership of the Complementary Therapists Association in Europe.
After their required internship and upon successfully passing rigorous in-house and external examinations, graduates from Ubuntu Touch will be fully qualified On Site Corporate Chair Massage therapists, and will include amongst others the following range of certificates:
- Ubuntu Touch Project Certificate: Medi-Spa Wellness Academy
- ITEC Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology: Level 3 (International) UK Accreditation
- ITEC Diploma in On Site Corporate Massage: Level 3 (International) UK Accreditation
- ITEC Certificate in Business Studies: Level 3 (International) UK Accreditation
12 WEEK PROGRAM (SETA NQF LEVEL 4 )
This 400 hour 3 month long training program will include:
- 150 direct contact class training hours: SETA “PERFORM A RELAXING MASSAGE” with oils (Anatomy & Physiology, Business & Professionalism, and Full Body Massage & Practicum), New Venture Creation-Entrepreneurship Training
- 50 hours energy vitality training: Reiki and Qi-gong Training
- 50 hours training: Chinese Feet Massage
- 50 hours internship and mentorship: over 6 Weeks, 2 days a week: Sponsored placements
- 50 hours guided supervision work: Exam, Assignments and Case Studies
- 100 hours On-Site Corporate Chair Massage
Includes the following certificates:
- Certificate in Reiki Natural Healing: Reiki Alliance Accreditation
- Certificate in On-Site Wellness: Medi-Spa Wellness Academy
- SETA level 4 Certificate ‘Perform a Relaxing Massage’
